Matthew Pulisic, DPT, MS, OCS

 Matt is a graduate of Randolph-Macon College with a degree in Biology and a 1990 graduate of the School of Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Virginia at VCU.  In 2002 he received his Master's Degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy also from the Medical College of Virginia. He achieved Board of Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 1996. He has conducted research publishing two articles: "Risk Factors for Plantar Fasciitis -"A Matched Case-Control Study" in the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, May 2003 and " Impact of Demographic and Impairment -Related Variables on Disability Associated with Plantar Fasciitis" in Foot and Ankle International, May 2004. Matt specializes in rehabilitation of all orthopedic and sports related injuries with a special interest in the upper and lower extremity biomechanics and orthotic fabrication. He is a clinical assistant professor at the MCV School of Physical Therapy and is the team physical therapist for Randolph-Macon College. Matt enjoys his free time with his family, coaching soccer, and baseball, and competitive cycling.
