What is the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee?

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a forum for student-athletes to explore and discuss issues that affect their athletic experience on a day-to-day basis. This organization broadens the involvement of student-athletes in both campus and community events. The SAAC encourages a sense of unity, common purpose, and camaraderie between teams and among all student-athletes, and allows for input to be made on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes’ lives on NCAA member institution campuses.

There are separate national SAACs for NCAA Division I, II, and III. NCAA legislation mandates that all member institutions have SAACs on their respective campuses. Further, NCAA legislation requires that all member conferences have SAACs. Click here to view SAAC Constitution
