ASHLAND, Va. — This year, Randolph-Macon College will be participating in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association's Open Collegiate Practice Day (OCPD). Over the course of two weekends, collegiate field hockey programs from across the country will open their preseason practices to observation by fellow NFHCA members. This event is designed for NFHCA members at all levels to connect and learn from one another. The event is primarily intended for high school and club coach members, but any NFHCA member is welcome to join.
R-MC will be hosting two sessions on Friday, August 23 (4:15-6:30) and Saturday, August 24 at Day Field. Any coach wishing to come observe the session must be an NFHCA member and needs to preregister here. Coaches planning to attend can find directions here and more information about the event, here.
"We are very excited to once again participate in the NFHCA's Open Collegiate Practice Day," R-MC Head Field Hockey Coach Jess Weiss said. "We fully support this initiative and look forward to engaging with the local field hockey community during our two open sessions."
