Men's Tennis Cruises Past Fighting Squirrels

The Randolph-Macon men's tennis team beat Mary Baldwin 8-1 on Sunday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets ran through doubles only dropping one game through all three matches. Max Doyle (Alexandria, Va./St. John's College) and Braxton Fagan (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) won 8-0 in the top doubles slot and the Yellow Jackets never looked back heading into singles. Holland Baynard (Wilmington, N.C./New Hanover) set the pace for the Yellow Jackets at the top of the lineup with a 6-1, 6-2 victory. In his first action for Randolph-Macon Jett Hales won 6-1, 6-2 securing the final point at the sixth singles position. The win moves RMC to 2-1.
