LEXINGTON, Va. – The Randolph-Macon women's soccer team earned a 1-1 tie with Washington and Lee Wednesday night on the road. Washington and Lee opened the scoring with a goal in the 79th minute before Olivia Owens found the back of the net just two minutes later to earn the result.

How it Happened:
- Washington and Lee broke the 0-0 tie in the 79th minute as Bryn Bissinger found the back of the net from a ball from the foot of Lindsay White.
- Randolph-Macon found the result with Olivia Owens' (Salisbury, Md./James M. Bennett) fifth goal on the year as Ally Spangler (Daleville, Va./Lord Botertort) picked up her first assist.
By The Numbers:
- Washington and Lee outshot the Yellow Jackets 23-8, but Randolph-Macon needed just two shots in the second half to find an equalizer.
- Spangler's assist makes her the third different Yellow Jacket to record an assist on the season.
- Abby Cook (Glen Allen, Va./Glen Allen) recorded 10 saves in the result, allowing just the single goal.
