Women's Tennis Stays Hot with 8-1 Win

ASHLAND, Va. -- Randolph-Macon women's tennis defeated conference opponent Bridgewater College with a 8-1 victory on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets managed two points from doubles taking 1st doubles and 3rd doubles matchups. Katie Sarnowski (Mechanicsville, Va./Atlee) and Adele Huffman (Granite Falls, N.C./University Christian) put the first doubles point on the board with an 8-1 victory at 3rd doubles.  In singles play, the Yellow Jackets had several close matches but managed to pull them out securing the final match score of 8-1. Katie Sarnowski came from behind at fifth singles securing a 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 win. RMC is now 6-2 heading into Sundays contest at Catholic University.
